Exit Trance presents Speed Anime Trance Best 8 will be out later this week and I can’t remember if I’ve given a heads up on what to expect. I’ll put it frankly though: no Katayoku no Tori. But do we really want Exit Trance to touch that? They have improved lately. Well hell, I misread! Actually, I skipped it. I was skimming the list and saw it! Now I’m both terrifiyed and excited! They have a newbie singer preforming it… ehhh… at least not Latte right? We have to look forward to are Canaan’s ‘Mind of Judgement’, Pandora Heart’s ‘Parallel Hearts’, Saki’s ‘Glossy:MMM’, Bakemonogatari’s ‘Stable Staple’, Tales of Abyss’s ‘Karma’, Eden of the East’s ‘Futuristic Imagination’, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Rei’s ‘Super Scription of Data’, and Ghost in the Shell’s ‘Inner Universe’. I know there are two Kanameno and Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu tracks as well. I’m also not 100% sure on Karma and Inner Universe. They don’t sound like common titles though.
Jeez, now I’m a little excited.
Also, thank you to Quake Records for finally putting the illustrators names on the album pages. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you.
Bricks were shat. (I used much, much more obscene language in my surprise tweet, really) I mean I’m always up for a Sorairo Days remix but when I heard the vocals, my jaw dropped. I mean this video was uploaded in August (around the time of the Albatrosicks review here on Loli Salad) so it’s nothing new. But I hadn’t even heard IOSYS had done an anime album! You can bet there will be a review of this album in the near future. It doesn’t sound great but it’s miko. MIKO. I’m actually reminded of the early Exit Trance stuff (which the new instalment should be out soon, right? I hope I’m not behind…) but that Sorairo Days was good. Meh. Exit Trance never had miko (or ARM for that matter, since he produced this remix)! So I’ll give this darned album a shot! Look forward to it~
EDIT: they have Katagiri Rekka doing a version of Tori no Uta? I think I foamed at the mouth a little. In a good way! Next you’ll be telling me REDALiCE helps out too!
We have here a blog that has compiled all of the Umineko releases at C76. Which is becoming increasingly better sounding. You can find the full article here: http://shiba.dtiblog.com/blog-entry-693.html. Let’s just peek at some upcoming albums here. I’ll try to post demos and album covers lead to the website of the album if they have one specifically.
CT/Luck Ganriki already released an album like this featuring tracks from the episodes earlier. This is essentially the same except with some new tracks such as Birth of the New Witch (which I for one am enthralled with) and Happy Maria -BAND ARRANGE- which is, brace yourself, a rock version of Happy Maria. It actually sounds crazy badass even if Maria sounds like Saki from Onechanbara at the begining of the demo. This album will be worth just these two tracks.
I don’t know much about this album but I’m pretty sure it isn’t all Umineko no Naku Koro ni. From the demo, what I could identify and tracklist though sounds great. Some of the faster tracks in the original OST are slower and therefore much creepier, if that makes sense. Since the music from the series is already so strange, making it creepier is a great task. Anyways, a very big album at two disks and roughly 35 tracks. In fact, listening to the demo made me go back and look at their other works. That must be saying something, right?
Musicbox Blue and Red is the release of most of the game tracks by Dai and ZTS. Tons of new albums are released and if you visit the site you can see them. They are the tracks with asterisks beside their names (on the Red Musicbox anyways). If you don’t already have the OST tracks this will be something worth checking out.
Expect a review for the first volume very shortly. When they sing is a series about… well the series being sung. I don’t know how much Higurashi no Naku Koro ni is involved. Apparently this features everything from Symphony, Jazz, Rock and Techno so it should have something for everyone. A symphony version of Happy Maria? There isn’t a demo but I doubt it’ll be as awesome as the rock version. There is also a track called Nice Beat. It’s lulzy sounding.
Observer -witch who lives- is an album from Pre-Holder. I believe it contains most of the game tracks (they sounded the same to me) but Pre-Holder does a lot of the great music from the series so that’s okay. Actually, listening to the demo for 終焉_VerC is different with creepy laughing and some of that demonic chanting. So it’ll be even more worth a listen if you aren’t into hearing the same music twice.
That is only some of the Umineko no Naku Koro ni music being released so there is lots to look forward to. I’ll try to cover as much as I can here on Loli Salad but it depends how available this becomes. I might not be around during Comiket unless the weather is really crappy.
So, as you might guess I am ecstatic. I just found out after briefly glancing at the list of all circles with tables at C76 when I saw ALTERNAIT. Well I did backflips. Something unsual this time too. Still Umineko related (although I was hoping for something original). I was under the impression, with many I suppose, that they would not release an album as they had released the EP4 album in May. This new song will cover all four eps as opposed to just one. The album itself will include the videos from the past motion graphics (and we can assume the songs as well). As usual, despite my love of the group and the song, I don’t have a great initial impression. The song and the video will be crazy awesome. Count on it.
Two sorta big Umineko posts here. I was supposed to review the other new (there were a few..) Exit Trance albums but I had to rage about the Umineko anime. So let’s do this before I rage here on LS, okay?
Someone over on livejournal translated the latest Umineko no Naku Koro ni Motion Graphic (the text/lines, not the song) and then added the notes into the video! I’d beware there’s some thinly masked spoilers. But if you’re already browsing Loli Salad you should be used to Umineko spoilers. I plan on creating a complete list of spoilers, plot twists and things you shouldn’t know before you watch the anime. But I’m very bitter about the anime. So. Yeah.
Episode Four has been fully translated by Witch-Hunt! I know I’m a bit late but I figure it’s worth sharing. You can find the patch over on Witch-Hunt’s site. I’m looking forward to playing myself! Here’s a link to Witch-Hunt’s site incase you (for some crazy) reason don’t have it. Comiket is right around the corner so WH gets a small break before EP5. Better get ready you guys! Great work and thanks from all Umineko fans!
I’ve done this before when I get too excited. Remember? Well I read something that I just had to post. I would like this time to post that this is a pre-tracklist and is in no way final. As one of the tracks I mentioned before was not added onto the final album. Sorry about the confusion over that. Let’s hope we actually get this one, okay? But we’re not just talking about upcoming Exit Trance albums today. No no, we have another treat in store.
Where to start? Let’s start with the second ’season’ of Exit Trance’s Ecstasy. Maybe reporting ont his is a bad idea? I have a feeling the list stated over on Dancemania is going to change dramatically. The songs listed are from the anime of the eroge series rather than the eroge themselves so I’m a little confused. Regarldess the tracks so far are SHUFFLE’s ‘You’, Kimi ga Aruji de Shitsuji ga Ore de’s ‘Hizamazuku Made 5 Byo Dake!’, H2O’s ‘Katayoku no Icarus’, and Nanatsuiro*Drops‘ ‘Shining Star Bless’. But like I said this list will most likely change. Afterall, the ET crew has already got You under their belt in the anime series. But they did reuse one of the (or two?) songs from School Days in the first Ecstasy.
Next we’ll go onto Anime Trance: Best the Movie. Apparently we have a few repeats here. But that is okay! Because the track that inspired me to write this blurb up was that we’ll be getting a remix of Kara no Kyoukai’s Oblivious!! Now I’m sure we haven’t had this song in the Anime Trance before. So maybe we’ll have only a few repeats. But if we have forgive me. It must not have been a very good remix if I can’t even remember it. We got some tracks from the Shana and Gurren-Lagann movie too. Oh, Rahxephon too. All repeats. This and Ecstacy 2 come out in two months so we’ll find out more in due time. If the list interests me, I’ll definitly keep you guys posted.
We have a possible new series from the Exit Tunes guys too. Stardom. So guess, what could it be? We have American movies taken care of. We have anime taken care of. Anime Movies. Commercials. Classical Music. Nico Nico hits. And so many more. So what are we missing? Doujin! I know right? Hahahaha. I wouldn’t really care because I don’t recognize most of the tracks. Except I went ‘Hooooray!’ when I saw Strawberry Generator by Albatrosicks is going to be Stardom! There is another IOSYS track but I don’t recognize it. And of course. Caramelldansen. Enough Exit Trance. Enough. This one, unlike Ecstacy and Best the Movie, comes out in May.
And let’s talk about another album I’m excited about! Super Anime Remix Touge 2. Feautring such tracks as Danjo (Danjo Danjo~ *pumps arm*), Higurashi Matsuri’s ‘Complex Image’, Higurashi’s ‘Naraku no Hana’, Shana’s ‘Hishoku no Sora’, the theme from Miko Miko Nurse, the infamous Nursery Ryhme’s ‘true my heart’, Negima’s ‘1000% Sparking’, ‘Saikyo Pare Parade’ from the Haruhi game (I think), Idolmaster Xenoglossia’s ‘Binetsu S.O.S’ and the peice de resitance~ ‘Kurenai’ from Night motherloving Wizard. I never thought I’d live to see the day when Night Wizard, a proclaimed favourite, would be remixed. But the chances of getting this album? Slim. There is another anime trance series I want but can’t find. But for the sake of Night Wizard, I will buy this album. <3
WTF. Two big Umineko things pass and nobody says anything? A preview of Curse of the Golden Witch is up at Baka-Tsuki but the translation patches for the first and second episodes are gone. Hmm… well, in any case, I’m going to wait for the full version. Secondly, I glimpsed the title Alliance of the Golden Witch and passed out for two hours. Now I caaaaaan’t wait for c75. Nothing new it seems. But Virgy and Battler surrounded by the Stakes is pretty awesome.
Oh gosh*, when was this released?I just saw it on Tokyotoshokan and almost died. I literally almost died. How long has it been since we were promised our SHAFT SD anime? Many a month ago. Anyways, I’d pick this up just for the Yuuki Aira (the track Moon Legend is actually the song from this video in case you thought it sounded famillar as I did) track. Tomatsu Haruka (who pretty much EXPLODED into our heads this season) and some other singer I’m too tired to recognize is also there and they preform Heaven’s Tree which is a pretty agreeable song (from the other preview I assume, again, too tired to search for) UNTIL this other singer who is clearly not our beloved Tomatsu-sama starts singing. Then you want to shoot yourself.
Anyways I am, as stated many times, really, really overtired. So I will not upload the album tonight. You can pick it up on TT and if you can’t use/won’t use torrents than look around. I’ll upload it this weekend for good measure because it’s awesome and starved Shina Dark fans should and will eat this one up.
* Fang swears too much, it’s not ladylike. She will replace most swears with gosh. If applicable of course.
Retro-esque anime based on a tokusatsu superhero movie (this is a remake of the original anime, however)?Normally these kind of things aren’t my thing. Really, shouldn’t I be watching Toradora for that milf? I really don’t like tsundere but a blonde-ish tsundere? Wait, wait, back on Cashew Casshern Sins…
