Looking forward to…

So in awhile expect my finished product of my top anime series from this year to be finished. It’ll be out in December some time. It’s a very hard list to make. Whereas this one is super, super easy. I checked out animesuki and MOON PHASE to see what I might want to watch in the next year. Maybe I won’t watch them, maybe they just struck my intrest. No matter what the case is, if I think it’s worth mentioning, it’ll probably be on this list.

JUNK FORCE: I’m not going to lie, the first thing I thought when I read the title was Suiginout being involved with somesort of sports team. But nah. This’ll probably be a medicore series that will become a joke to watch. The art on the site is pretty bad quality so I can’t make too many judgements about how it looks. If anything I’ll just end up watching this show for the loli, Mill.  I get Coyote Ragtime Show (which is one of my ALL TIME favorites) and Gun X Sword (It was okay. Wasn’t as good as CRS.) vibes from this show. If they would have animated the blue manga of Erementar Gerad, I’m sure it would have been kinda like this. Or maybe I just like pairing up deserts. I don’t know. I just don’t know.

(I have no idea when this is airing. If it even is. I thought to mention it anyways.)

Junk Force

BLASSREITER -genetic-: Nitro+ and Gonzo? Yes please! (That was sarcasim, in case you could not tell). I share the sentiments of a few other bloggers on this one. Gonzo has like the highest hit-or-miss line to be careful of. Some of their shows are masterpieces (Here’s looking at you, Simon), Some are good but not great (O Romeo, O Romeo! Wherefor art thou Romeo?) and some vary on your tastes (lol @ Kiddy Grade and Jigoku Shoujo Futakomori).

Mnemosyne: Now here’s something I can sink my teeth into. I litterally showed this to my sister and said, doesn’t this look badass? It does. It looks really cool! Horror and Sci-Fi? Yes Please! (That, my friends, was not sarcastic). Hell, the director worked on Erementar Gerade (Second refrence in one entry? It must be a sign!). That alone would make me watch it. The show is about a woman from Tokyo and another woman trying to assasinate her. That’s all I know. But coincidentally, that’s all I have to know.

GUNSLINGER GIRL -IL TEATRINO-: When I was a wee kid (I wasn’t actually a kid. I was like twelve or elleven, I dunno) my first anime I really watched (of course my first anime wa sprobably Sailor Moon or Pokemon or something like that) was Inuyasha. I really liked it at the time. I looked into it and found out it was anime, yadda yadda yadda, here I am today. But the first anime I watched that wasn’t on TV was Noir and I loved it. Sometime after finishing Noir someone reccomened Gunslinger Girl to me. I was pleased with that as well. So I’m looking forward to the return of emotionless loli’s with guns (*is shot*). So watching this will probably make me nostalgic. Which is good…I think.

Gunslinger Girl

Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei (Second Season): No other comment other than, awesome :D.

Spice and Wolf: Can you say omachkaeri? It has Ami Koshimizu playing the main (wolf) girl, that also pleases me. But this looks like a very cute series (In terms of MichiruXChika and ElisXRenji OTPing too…) so I’m sure I’ll be watching this. It has 12 episodes so it’ll be short but there isn’t anything wrong with short series (In fact, I like them a little better). But expect ALOT of high acclaim and excitement from me on this. Oh, by the way. I’d give my first born child for this. (Aha! It’ll be a Spring Anime! What a short wait~)

true tears:  Wasn’t this supposed to be released like this or last year? Oh well. It looks like any other dramatic h-game adaption. (I say that but I’ll probably end up loving tihs show if it gets really dramatic or something). But anyways, if it’s taken this long for it to come out then it better be good.

H20 ~ Footprints in the sand~: Kay. So True Tears will fail in comparison to this. The only diffrence between the two dramatic h-game adaptions is this one looks prettier. Honestly. If they’re going to adapt h-games into anime why not do Gore Screaming Show? OR ANYTHING BY BLACK CYC? Geez.

Kimi ga Aruji de Shitsu ga Ore de: There is master in the title and I see a maid. Intrigued? You bet I am.
This show does look awfully cute. It’s got everything I love: blondes, loli’s (well kinda…), maids, a mistress in charage…heck, the only thing it doesn’t have is a yanderekko! But we don’t know that for sure yet…

(To be updated at a further date with any other series that intrest me;  like the rumoured Winter ’08 Mirai Nikki, boy I was right on about that one…)

Junk Force? Been waiting for an anime that since I picked up one of the novels (the art on the novel covers is beautiful). The story isn’t bad, a bit formulaic and predictable maybe but enjoyable nontheless. I’ve always thought it a shoe-in for GONZO what with the pretty girls+mech combo.

Ah.. Just found out that the reason the Junk Force novel illustrations look like Komatsu Eiji’s artwork for Maburaho etc. is that they are by Komatsu.

Mamet is the lolliest loli of the series (although she is an android).
